Jumping Into March …

February ended with a bang — the Art for Children Fundraiser for HeARTsy was a success, Connect! held the monthly Walking Closet at Urban Community Outreach, Harvest Partners LB harvested some gorgeous produce! Feeding Long Beach is growing Sack Lunch Tuesday bigger and bigger each week! Auspicious Arts is leading art workshops at Safe Refuge and Century Villages at Cabrillo. March is looking like a good month!

Safe Refuge Workshop; yesterday was week 4. Some of the participants are gay and fabulous, others hardcore veterans. Almost every one of them claims not to be artistic. This is not [our] experience of them.
